PLACES OF INTEREST ALL AROUND

Temptations abound in this shopping area, which is traditional and modern at the same time. Not far from the hotel are the Montparnasse Tower shopping centre, the stores of the bustling Rue de Rennes and Bon Marché, the unique, très chic department store of the Left Bank, all offering excellent places for shopping.

Rue de Vaugirard, reputed to be the longest street in Paris, runs through several neighbourhoods and thus several different atmospheres - why not take it to reach the elegant Jardin du Luxembourg, the green lung of the hectic Latin Quarter?

Bordering the prestigious Seventh and Sixteenth arrondissements, the Fifteenth also benefits from its proximity to some of the most famous sites in the west of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower (with the Champs Élysées not much farther away), the Hôtel des Invalides, Musée d’Orsay and Quai Branly.

Although perfectly served by public transport, several places to visit are situated no more than half an hour's walk from the Yllen Eiffel Hotel. Here is a selection:

Two nearby metro lines (Volontaires station, at the foot of the hotel, line 12, Mairie d'Issy / Aubervilliers-Front Populaire; Pasteur station 300m away, ligne 6, Charles de GaulleÉtoile / Nation), along with three bus lines, provide quick, direct access to many tourist sites, on both the Left and Right Bank.
